Design Notes

We placed the green fluorescent protein gene sfGFP under the control of the bidirectional promoter PalsI and terminated transcription by the T7 promoter. AlsR in the E. coli genome was used to control PalsI, allowing green fluorescent protein expression to be controlled by the concentration of D-allose.
